Still waiting for a thaw up here but no sign on the horizon. In the sunshine yesterday it was magical with all the snow still hanging on the tree branches and twinkling away. Hay Tor in the distance was emerging through the mist and looked quite surreal.
Animals are finding it difficult to find food under nearly a foot of snow on the ground now.
Seriously considering putting in the first application to the National Park planners for a ski lift up to Hay Tor; what do you think !!?
Would certainly be safer than using the road as many of the public coming up to Dartmoor with sledges have been doing which has been incredibly dangerous.
